Whenever I go out of town I always tell people there is this place back home that has the best roast beef sub sandwiches I have ever had at any place across America! I have had their other food as well and it was outstanding but they're roast beef sub sandwich is out of this world! If I could give it more than five stars I would.

Love the spaghetti! This particular visit, the noodles were mushy or over done so you may want too mention you don't want that. But the taste is amazing and every other visit has always been great!

I was looking for a good roast beef sandwich in Dothan. I asked a few friends and they recommended this place. Everyone called it “Italian Express” and from some of the menu, I see why. Anyway, I ordered the roast beef sandwich, fries with gravy and an iced tea. It was exactly what I was wanting. I could have eaten a second sandwich with no problem. The nice lady who waited on me was super sweet and it didn’t take long for her to bring me my food. I will definitely go back. ...probably next week when I’m back down there.

We love the fried chicken, spaghetti and philly sandwich... Great today as well, 6-28-22!!! Staff is super friendly and tea is alwqys full! 1-25-23 Fingers n Fries Combo was delish!!! Love the staff... 2-7-23, Lasagna was superb! Thank You Mrs. Francis for the homemade peanut butter cake! Will be back next Tuesday.

I can not express how delicious the roast beef hoagie is. Been eating it since 91' its still amazing. I'll always love Italian express!!! Express family restaurants

I saw a sign that said founded in 86, and that’s the last time any update was made. This place is a complete dive, and I mean that in the best sense. The interior isn’t luxurious or modern. The menu is very limited, but I’ve eaten at hawker centre stalls, that only serve one thing but still have Michelin stars. I had a roast beef with fries. The brown gravy is delicious and they toasted the roll so well the sauce didn’t make the bread turn to mush. Pulling apart the sandwich an arms length of cheese stretched out, and this was still after the 10 min drive back to my office. I will have to be back for the other sarnies and chicken. So good!

We ordered the Roast Beef plate and a chicken finger plate. Both were awesome. Fresh. The gravy on the roast beef was awesome. Friendly service and cashier's are very knowledgeable. Worth every penny!
